The search for survivors continues in Peru, following Wednesday's earthquake that killed more than 500 people and injured as many as 1,500.

Many perished beneath the rubble of their collapsed houses and the number of injured has overwhelmed area hospitals and strained food and water supplies.

The hardest-hit area near Pisco rumbled again with aftershocks on Friday. One of the aftershocks measured 6.0 on the Richter scale, and it caused widespread panic.

Tyler Bridges of The Miami Herald talks with Madeleine Brand.
