Children's book writer Jon Scieszka is known for his charmingly twisted bestsellers, The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs.

He recently gained a new title as the first National Ambassador for Young People's Literature, established by The Library of Congress. Scieszka's task is to get kids jazzed about reading.
