Borrowers Turn to Alternative Loan Sources
For many Americans, getting a loan today is not an easy task. The downturn in credit markets has sent borrowers and lenders looking for alternative ways to meet their credit needs.
Nicolas Retsinas, director of the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University, discusses some of the options popping up around the country. They include savings pools, or person-to-person loans.
