After 15 Seasons, Final 'ER' Episode Airs Thursday
The fictional nurses and doctors in the television drama ER are taking off their scrubs for the last time. After 15 seasons, NBC is pulling the plug on the show Thursday night. ER had a huge impact on TV dramas because of the way it was written and filmed. The camera swept around the cluttered, crowded and low-ceilinged hospital.

INSKEEP: The fictional nurses and doctors in the television drama take their scrubs off for the last time tonight. After 15 seasons, NBC is pulling the plug. "ER" had a huge impact on TV dramas, because of the way it was written and filmed. The camera swept around that cluttered, crowded, low-ceilinged hospital and the camera fell in love with rising stars like George Clooney, who played pediatrician Dr. Ross in the early seasons.

JULIANNA MARGULIES: (As Nurse Hathaway) You had your chance.
CLOONEY: (As Dr. Ross) I was young, I was a fool.
MARGULIES: (As Nurse Hathaway) You're still a fool.
