Title Tracks is the brainchild of John Davis, a veteran of the Washington, D.C. music scene. Having played in a diverse range of bands in the past — both for post-punk stalwarts Q And Not U and indie-pop duo Georgie James — it comes as no surprise that Davis' latest project finds him dabbling in some new territory. With the exception of a couple of guest performances, Davis played all of the instruments on Title Tracks' debut record, It Was Easy, an album filled with driving, hook-laden power-pop. He and his touring band play songs from the album at the Gibson Guitar Showroom in this SXSW set brought to you by KEXP.
