Innovative finger-style guitarist Andy McKee makes his first appearance on Mountain Stage with some of his well-known instrumentals, as well as one from his latest CD, Joyland. The new release is McKee's sixth CD, which features eight originals and two covers. "Rylynn" and "Drifting," heard here, both appear on his 2005 disc, Art of Motion.

The self-taught acoustic soloist uses percussive taps and strums, over-handed fingerings and artificial harmonics to execute intricate melodies that have gained widespread attention on YouTube. His video for "Drifting" has received nearly 37 million views worldwide.
