Originally from the Midwest and now living in Los Angeles, singer-songwriter Leslie Stevens is building momentum with her latest album, Roomful of Smoke. Recorded with her backing band, The Badgers, Stevens spent most of May on the road with Roky Erickson and Okkervil River. Her soft, clear voice remains the focal point, while her alt-country sound recalls the Laurel Canyon days of The Flying Burrito Brothers.

After Stevens' set, the Mountain Stage band stays put on stage to accompany Julie Adams in her version of Randall Bramblett's "Sun Runs," featuring dueling solos by electric guitarists Ryan Kennedy and Michael Lipton.
