RENEE MONTAGNE, host:

Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.

For an art project, a student in Britain has created aDictionary of Lost Words. It's filled with words that failed to make it into theOxford English Dictionary. There's freegan, a person who eats free food found in Dumpsters; nonversation, a pointless conversation; and wikism, supposedly factual information that is completely inaccurate. We hope you're not now suffering from xenolexica - grave confusion when faced with unusual words.

It's MORNING EDITION.
