The Naked and Famous elicits an immediate response: Phone calls flooded the studio the first time I played the band's single, "Young Blood." We have an adventurous and diverse audience at Morning Becomes Eclectic, so it's always great to see what they respond to.

I first heard The Naked and Famous on iTunes, and, after seeing the group live in the studio, I'm convinced it could break big this year. It's already a sensation in its home country of New Zealand, and I don't think it'll take long for it to find a large audience for its catchy, expertly crafted pop songs in the U.S. We plan to help that process along by featuring the band in our SXSW showcase on Wednesday, March 16. If you plan to be in Austin, you won't want to miss it.
