The Jayhawks: Reunited And Live In Concert
The Jayhawks: Reunited And Live In Concert
Tom Campbell/The Current
The Jayhawks' members were staples of the alt-country sound from the time they made their debut together 25 years ago right up until they went on hiatus in the mid-2000s. Given their long-standing legacy, separately and especially together, it's sometimes hard to remember that their influential career began and continues in Minnesota's Twin Cities.
The Jayhawks returned last year with a spate of reunion shows continuing into this past winter. A week before they released their first new full-length in nearly eight years, Mockingbird Time, they joined 89.3 The Current for an intimate performance at the historic Fitzgerald Theater.
