Although started as a solo project by Jimmy LaValle of Tristeza, The Album Leaf has become more of a four-piece band since last year's A Chorus of Storytellers. Delicate and full of space, The Album Leaf filled the Paramount Theatre with post-rock that's influenced by jazz and classical music and owes more to singer-songwriters than most in the genre.
