Diet Cig, 'Dinner Date'

LANGUAGE ADVISORY: This song contains explicit language.

Diet Cig singer Alex Luciano shouldn't get away with a silly simile like, "And you know I'm scared / Like a third grader on a triple dog dare." Luciano curls her mouth around "triple dog dare" with a knowing grin/side-eye, and that's when you just can't help but root for Diet Cig.

In Christopher Daly and Alex Antiuk's video for the grungy pop song "Dinner Date," Luciano absolutely crushes every dude at arm wrestling. Like, every dude: the Walter Sobchak lookalike, the guy in the Mexican wrestling mask, the greaser who thinks he's all that. All destroyed. All hail the arm of Alex Luciano.

The "Sleep Talk" b/w "Dinner Date" 7" is out now on Father/Daughter. Diet Cig is on tour in September.
