Bahamas makes its second appearance on Mountain Stage, recorded live in Charleston, W.Va. Led by Finnish-Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist Afie Jurvanen, Bahamas mixes folk, pop and indie rock to create something soulful and harmonious.

Bahamas' 2011 album, Barchords, was a minor masterpiece of blue-eyed gospel-soul, executed with exquisite taste. The follow-up, Bahamas Is Afie, further demonstrates Jurvanen's enormous talent as a songwriter, guitarist and master of hook-writing.

Jurvanen appears here with Felicity Williams on backing vocals, along with drummer Jason Tait, bassist Darcy Yates and guitarist Christine Bougie.
