WFUV Presents: Dave Gahan & SoulsaversWFUV

Sometimes there's as much beauty in the darkness as there is in the journey to the light. Dave Gahan & Soulsavers' new album, Angels & Ghosts, captures the hope inherent in the quest for something better. In their second collaboration together, Gahan and Soulsavers (Rich Machin and Ian Glover) have created a work that's both comforting and forward-looking.

With a 10-piece lineup for a recent set at MSR Studios in Midtown, Dave Gahan & Soulsavers performed an entrancing mix of new songs and band favorites. Hearing Gahan's voice in such an intimate space provided an amazing contrast to the arenas he's accustomed to playing with Depeche Mode.
