Watch Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, Live At Pickathon

This week we premiere the second video from the 2016-17 Pickathon Woods Stage series, featuring Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles. A member of the Grammy-winning jazz-R&B group Snarky Puppy, the versatile Henry is also a master on the Hammond B-3. He played a midday gospel set on the organ, then came back with his band The Funk Apostles for an evening set in the forested amphitheater. Overflowing the small stage, the group easily filled an hour-long set with just four funky jams, starting with "Why Don't Cha / Get Up."

Every month this year, opbmusic and NPR Music will present another episode from the Pickathon Woods Stage. Look for the next premiere in late December.
