President Trump walked back his comments from a Monday press conference with Vladimir Putin. He now says he misspoke when he appeared to side with Russia over American intelligence agencies regarding the 2016 election interference by Russia.

Reactions from both sides of the aisle piled up on Tuesday before Trump said he accepts the conclusions of the U.S. intelligence agencies that Russia meddled in the U.S. election.
