Hometown: Saguenay, Quebec, Canada

Genre: Folk

Why We're Excited: Josie Boivin, who records under the name MUNYA, is a classically trained singer-songwriter with an opera background. She's only discovered her pop side in the past few years, but since then, she's released a string of EPs that reveal a gift for ethereal, synth-driven bilingual pop that straddles the past, present and future. "Hotel Delmano" floats along on a sweet, billowy, sunnily melancholic arrangement.
