This week we're going to step away from Alt.Latino World Headquarters and head down to Cali, Colombia. Actually I'm going stay put and let contributor Maria Paz Gutierrez take us back to her hometown for a massive music festival.

The Petronio Alvarez Music Festival is one of the largest celebrations of Afro Colombian culture and music in the country. Here, Maria Paz captures the sights, sounds and even the tastes. We also present a special guided tour of some of the music heard in her report.

There is lot to take in and we are proud to present this programming as part of our celebration of Black History Month. — Felix Contreras
