The Black Crowes' Robinson Brothers Reunite As Brothers Of A Feather

Brothers of a Feather on World Cafe
The Black Crowes had a huge influence on the sound of Southern rock with songs like "Remedy," "She Talks to Angels," "Hard to Handle" and "Jealous Again." It all came to an end in 2015 when the members of the band announced they were breaking up, mainly due to tensions between singer Chris Robinson and guitarist Rich Robinson.
In today's session, the brothers talk about what led up to that decision and how they found their way back together. This summer, the pair planned to head out on tour with the full band to perform The Black Crowes entire debut album, Shake Your Money Maker, for its 30th anniversary — as of right now, those performances are still scheduled to begin in mid-June. A couple months ago, they stopped by for an acoustic performance under the moniker "Brothers of a Feather." We get started with one of those songs, entitled "Jealous Again."
