Brandy Clark has an impressive songwriting resume. Over the years, she's racked up writing credits working with other artists. Not only did she co-write the hit song "Follow Your Arrow" with Kacey Musgraves and Shane McAnally, she's also written for Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban...you get the idea. The list goes on and on.

In this session recorded last month, Brandy talks about her career as a songwriter, growing up near Mount St. Helens and her new album, which includes a duet with Randy Newman. She also performs songs from Your Life Is A Record, beginning with "The Past Is The Past."
