Perhaps you've heard about the talented singer-songwriter whose new album was produced by Aaron Dessner of The National. That's a bit of a trick question: I'm referring to Hannah Georgas, the Juno-nominated Canadian singer-songwriter whose new album, All That Emotion, was produced by Dessner. (But yes, Dessner also just recently worked with Taylor Swift.) Georgas has been a mainstay in Canada, where in addition to Juno nominations for album of the year, she's been long listed for the Polaris Prize as well.

The songwriter recently moved out of Toronto to the country in Ontario. In this episode, we talked about life during COVID-19, writing these songs back in 2017 yet releasing them in 2020, and what she learned working with Dessner. She shared some beautiful home recordings for this session, too.
