Today, I speak to Kevin Parker of Tame Impala at his home in Australia about the very different year he's had, about The Slow Rush – the album his band released Feb. 2020 and that was supposed to define his working year – and about his whole musical history, from when he was making "unlistenable" songs as a teenager to the just-released 10th anniversary edition of Tame Impala's debut album Innerspeaker.

The session kicks with a song you would have heard at a Tame Impala concert this past year – from The Slow Rush, it's "Lost In Yesterday."
