It's hard to feel bad when you listen to the music of Dutch artist Benny Sings. His latest album, simply titled Music, is a breezy, carefree collection of songs full of light and air, and wrapped in a mix of what reviewer Tarik Moody calls "Yacht Soul." We open this week's show with the album's opening song, "Nobody's Fault," and talk about the many ways Benny Sings can bring joy to your day.

Also on the show: the group Brockhampton returns with its most personal and revealing album so far, Milwaukee native and rapper Lakeyah has her moment on her latest mixtape In Due Time, the transcendent sounds of the Vijay Iyer Trio, composer claire rousay and more. Nate Chinen of WBGO and Jazz Night In America joins NPR Musics Lars Gotrich, contributor Christina Lee, Radio Milwaukee's Tarik Moody and AltLatino's Anamarie Sayre, along with host Robin Hilton, to share their picks for the best new albums out on April 9.
