We have a winner in the 2021 Tiny Desk Contest. Neffy is a stunning singer and songwriter based in Arlington, Va., and on this edition of All Songs Considered, we hear her winning entry, "Wait Up." Neffy's song is all about coming home, returning to nature, and finding spirituality. Similar subjects also inspired new music from Aisha Badru. I play "Rebirth" from her upcoming EP, The Way Back Home.

I first heard Lily Konigsberg as part of the raw, New York minimalist band Palberta. Not long ago, I played another project Lily was part of called Water From Your Eyes. Lily Konigsberg also makes her own music. Her debut solo album is called Lily We Need To Talk Now, and I play the song "Sweat Forever."

The insane dream of Haley Dahl was to record her band, Sloppy Jane, with a 21-piece ensemble in a large cave. Three years of searching and that crazy dream is now an album. Madison will be out soon on her dear friend and former bandmate Phoebe Bridgers' label Saddest Factory; we hear the song "Party Anthem."

The first new album in six years by My Morning Jacket is coming. Songwriter, singer and frontman Jim James exudes the need for positivity in the band's new song "Love Love Love." I take us out on Snail Mail, the music of Lindsey Jordan. The title track to the new album, "Valentine" found its power in the studio with producer Brad Cook.
