A controversy erupted around the Latin Grammys just after nominations were announced. Alt.Latino host Felix Contreras sat down with Alt.Latino contributor Julyssa Lopez of Rolling Stone magazine and NPR's Ari Shapiro on NPR's All Things Considered to unpack the chisme. We're sharing the conversation on this week's episode.
Despite the controversy around surprise picks and passes, some nominations fulfilled expectations. Long-time pop rock legend Juanes picked up three nominations. We'll hear a backstage interview with him about his new album and his latest tour conducted by Alt.Latino contributor Marisa Arbona-Ruiz.
