For some, being "saved" is a religious experience. But salvation can come in many different forms. For the last few years, Neal Francis has been working on saving himself — in part by getting sober. But more recently, he ended up finding a kind of salvation in a Chicago church that let him live in the parsonage there. It's also where he recorded his latest album, In Plain Sight. How did he end up living in a church parsonage? He'll explain in this session, where he joins World Cafe for a conversation and a performance of songs from In Plain Sight.
