Americana roots-rockers Aubrie Sellers and Jade Jackson both released sophomore solo albums in 2019, leading to them being booked for separate performances, on the same evening, during AmericanaFest in Nashville. Connecting via Instagram after the gigs, Sellers and Jackson decided to meet up for a songwriting session. During that impromptu collaboration, they discovered a long-lost-sister level of chemistry; what began with one song then became a shared album, as Jackson + Sellers, called Breaking Point.

In this World Cafe Nashville episode, we talk about the trajectory for their rocking new record and how effortless it was to collaborate on it. Hearing them together reminds us of the sheer joy making music can bring — especially when it is shared.
