The boom in remote working since the beginning of the pandemic means many offices in America's biggest cities are sitting empty. At the same time, there's a shortage of residential apartments. Well, supply meet demand. Real Estate developers are turning those empty offices into homes. New York City is at the epicenter of these office to apartment conversions.
