On All Songs Considered this week, NPR's Marissa Lorusso and Hazel Cills bring us new music that is both adventurous and addictive. We begin with the sounds of Decisive Pink, the duo of Kate NV and Angel Deradoorian (a former member of Dirty Projectors) and her project, Deradoorian. Their song "Haffmilch Holiday" was inspired by an oat milk cappuccino and aimed to find small joys in life.

The duo of Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak, who perform as @ (pronounced "at"), blend acoustic sounds with electronics plus a dose of strangeness. Likewise, London musician Rozi Plain mixes the acoustic with electronics resulting in a chill and stripped-down sound, which you'll hear on her recent song "Help." Rozi Plain has played with This Is The Kit and The Comet is Coming and Prize is her fifth solo album.

Kate Davis was trained as a jazz musician but after moving to New York and being influenced by bands such as Dirty Projectors and Grizzly Bear, she found her own sound. On her new album Fish Bowl, Kate plays all the instruments except the drums; the song I feature from the album is called "Consequences."

The band Fievel Is Glauque has a sound that is sort of weird and jazzy but also '60s tropicália. We hear "Days of Pleasure" from their album Flaming Swords. We end the show with the band M(h)aol (pronounced, "male") spread out over Dublin, London and Bristol. They have a post-punk sound and play songs with lyrics focused on gender issues and inequality; we hear the song "THERAPY" from the album Attachment Style.
