Today, World Cafe brings you a mini-concert with Will Sheff, the longtime frontman of the Austin, Texas, indie folk band Okkervil River.

Sheff recently released his debut solo album, Nothing Special, featuring appearances from Cassandra Jenkins and Eric D. Johnson of Fruit Bats. Making Nothing Special under his own name untethered Sheff from the past, allowing him more possibility and freedom.

Sheff is joined by fellow Okkervil River bandmate Will Graefe for this session, trading off between acoustic and electric guitar throughout.
