Louder Than A Riot.
NPRWe were supposed to drop a new episode of Louder Than A Riot down the feed this morning; an episode about a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment and workplace discrimination at The Source magazine. It was a suit that happened back in the early 2000s, long before the Me Too movement.
Originally, this was a straightforward story about a woman's lawsuit almost 20 years ago. The story we were planning to bring you was about Rule Number 5: 'if you see something, say nothing'. But now, that story has evolved and that rule has only become more true. Whether it's in the courtroom or the community, there's still structures in place that show it's safer to keep quiet.
So, it's going take a bit a longer to bring you this story. But trust, it's going to be worth it. We'll have a new episode for you on April 27. Thanks for rockin' with us.
