Have you heard dodie's new band? Looking for some ethereal sonic adventures? On this week's All Songs Considered, NPR Music's Hazel Cills along with Marissa Lorusso (hopefully) turn you on to something new, beginning with FIZZ, the new crazy fun band from dodie. There's an album coming in September called The Secret To Life, and the first single is a trippy number called "High In Brighton."

The artist L'Rain is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer and curator. Her new song, "New Year's UnResolution," is a musical journey that considers the aftermath of a breakup.

"Vine" is the lead single from Glasser's first new album in 10 years, titled crux out Oct. 6. The electronic artist's new track builds on her last full-length release, 2013's Interiors, matching strong, somber strings with bewitching beats.

Allegra Krieger is a singer-songwriter from New York City whose songs are both cosmic and finely detailed. We hear the stirringly beautiful song "Lingering" from her forthcoming album, I Keep My Feet on The Fragile Plane.

The Mexican artist Silvana Estrada, known for her minimalist folk compositions using her Venezuelan cuatro, also has a new song out: "Milagro y Desastre." The title and the song's repeated refrain translate to "miracles and disaster," inspired by Estrada's belief that life-changing events are always a combination of both.

I love the sounds of the Australian duo Luluc. Zoƫ Randell and Steve Hassett blend ethereal lyrics, Randell's emotive singing and sonic adventures on "Diamonds," the title track of their next album, which is out in September.
