Doritos and Empirical Spirits partner to make nacho cheese-flavored liquor
Empirical Spirits pitched the idea of whipping nacho chips into alcohol to the makers of Doritos. And now — for just $65 — you too can partake of liquor that smells and tastes like cheese dust.
STEVE INSKEEP, HOST:
Good morning, I'm Steve Inskeep. What's a gift for the person who has everything? If that person takes to drink and likes Doritos, we have a suggestion from a former chef at a famous European restaurant. Empirical Spirits teamed up with Doritos to make the nacho chips into alcohol. For $65, you, too, can drink liquor that tastes and smells like cheese dust. You don't get orange stains on your fingers, though we have no promises about your lips.
It's MORNING EDITION.
