President-elect Donald Trump has had a busy week floating his picks for his upcoming cabinet. Selections include Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz as attorney general, former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard as director of national intelligence, and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio for secretary of state.

Trump's team is also considering drafting an order that will create a board of retired military officials whose mandate will be to investigate generals it identifies as unfit for leadership.

Trump and President Joe Biden met in the Oval Office after the former's election victory. Biden congratulated Trump and said he looked forward to a smooth transition of power.

Trump also named his pick for U.S. ambassador to Israel this week, tapping former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee for the position. Huckabee has previously questioned the existence of a Palestinian identity and opposed a two-state solution.

Trump also took time this week to send a message to Russia about Ukraine, telling President Putin not to escalate the conflict.
