August 27, 2014; Washington, D.C. – After teasing All Songs Considered fans with "Hunger of the Pine" in June, alt-J is ready to bring NPR Music audiences more new music. In a "First Listen Live" concert on September 2, the English trio exclusively performs several songs from its new album This Is All Yours – weeks before its public release. This world-premiere event will be available to watch live beginning at 9PM ET at the NPR Music site. A limited number of tickets are also available to attend the show in person; details follow:

For the first time since the 2012 debut, alt-J is set to take the stage with all-new music. This exclusive "First Listen Live" concert at Le Poisson Rouge in New York will be the band's first public performance of music from This Is All Yours (out September 22), offering a preview of what's to come on the band's UK and North American tours this fall. Presented in coordination with NPR Member Station WFUV New York, the video broadcast will be hosted by WFUV's Russ Borris and All Songs Considered host Bob Boilen. Audiences worldwide can experience the event as it happens through NPR.org/music.
