NPR and Join Forces to Provide Online Content for Teachers and Students Across the Country Collaborative Educational Web Site to Feature NPR Content and Audio

NEW YORK - National Public Radio® (NPR®) and, a premiere online learning destination, today announced a joint effort to provide high-quality learning materials for America's schools by creating and distributing original Internet-based content for the education community. This fall, NPR and will launch an educational Web resource featuring NPR content and audio, combined with lesson plans, student activities and opportunities for classroom collaboration. Initially, the site will bring teachers and students NPR election coverage from Morning Edition®, All Things Considered®, and Talk of the Nation®, with future content expanding to include a range of news and current affairs topics.
