Beginning today, NPR Music offers advance streams of new albums from Bruce Springsteen, Cee Lo Green, Salome, and a tribute to Os Mutantes. All of the recordings are available for free, on-demand listening at part of the site's "First Listen" series.

Bruce Springsteen: NPR streams 15 of its favorite tracks from the Boss' new two-CD set The Promise. The collection includes 21 never-before-heard tracks, and is being released in conjunction with a reissue of his 1978 album Darkness on the Edge of Town. Stream songs from The Promise here:

Cee Lo Green: Riding high on the success of "F--- You," the artist is about to release his much-anticipated new solo album. In addition to the catchy and profanity-laden first single, the album highlights Cee Lo's trademark vocal and lyrical intensity, and is produced by Remi Salaam (Nas), among others. Stream The Lady Killer:

Salome: Known for having one of the most powerful lead vocalists in the scene, the "doom metal" rockers in Salome are about to release a new album called Terminal. The work of a stand-out performer at this year’s SXSW festival, this album has been widely anticipated by writers in the metal world:

Os Mutantes Tribute: The legendary Brazillian psychedelic musicians are celebrated by Latin and world-music performers, including Aterciopelados, Café Tacuba, and others. The covers pay respect to the innovative and influential band, which just completed a tour with Magic Kids and Ariel Pink. Stream El Justiciero Cha, Cha, Cha here:
