March 22, 2009 • Colombian emigre Edmar Castaneda came to the U.S. as a teenager and fell in love with the music of Charlie Parker and Chick Corea. So he decided to use a traditional instrument of Colombia's cowboys to play his own form of pan-Latin jazz.
