Dee Dee Ramone, whose real name was Douglas Glenn Colvin was 50 years old. A syringe was found nearby and a drug overdose is considered a possible cause.

From their start in 1974, the Ramones combined fast, deafening guitar with precise drumming to create a hurricane of sound.
