David Bowie

Early in his life, David Bowie spent time in a monastery, tried playing the saxophone and founded a mime company. He decided to focus on music in the 1970s, depriving the world of a miming talent that may have rivaled that of Marcel Marceau. With his new album "Heathen," Bowie enters his fourth decade as a rock star.
