Juliana Kim is a weekend reporter for Digital News, where she adds context to the news of the day and brings her enterprise skills to NPR's signature journalism.

She is based in Nashville and came to NPR from member station WPLN, where she most recently served as the education beat reporter. Before that, Kim was a fellow at The New York Times, and her stories included covering the summer 2020 protests after George Floyd's murder and the Atlanta-area spa shootings. She was a key player in the Times' coverage of the spa shootings, connecting with the community as well as the family members of the victims to show their stories.
