Nicole Sweeney

Nicole Sweeney's intro to radio began at Temple University where she studied Broadcasting Communications and Mass Media. The born-and-bred New Yorker grew her passion for jazz while working at the legendary jazz station WRTI in Philadelphia.

Sweeney later went on to work in jazz radio at WCLK in Atlanta and WBGO in Newark. Known to some as "the Velvet Voice," Nicole considers herself a lover and perpetual student of where jazz has been — and where the music is going.
