Betsy Gardella is the President & CEO of New Hampshire Public Radio. Since assuming her position four years ago, NHPR has completed a successful $6.5 million Capital Campaign, constructed and moved to a new state-of-the-art broadcast facility, and launched a new daily show about arts and ideas, Word of Mouth.

Betsy previously worked at WNYC Radio, the New York Shakespeare Festival, National Dance Institute and the American Center in Paris and has served as a consultant to cultural, media and educational institutions including American Public Media, Minnesota Public Radio, Public Radio Exchange and SRG.

Betsy currently serves on the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits Board of Directors; the National Council of Graywolf Press based in Minneapolis, MN; the Franklin Pierce College/Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication Advisory Board in Rindge, NH; the Playwrights Horizons Theater School Advisory Board in New York City and is an incorporator of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
