Now You Can Buy Your Occupy Wall Street Poster From Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart, one of the country's largest corporations, is selling Occupy Wall Street posters online. The company has itself been the target of demonstrations advocating for higher wages. On sale are large, panoramic posters of protesters camped out at Zuccotti Park in New York City, where the movement started in 2011.

New York's Next Mayor Tries New Tactic To Get Feedback

For two weeks, a huge translucent tent has stood on Canal Street in New York City. The tent is a place for New Yorkers to go and talk about what they want the next mayor to do. They can make videos, post videos and enter their concerns on 48 iPad terminals. There are concerts, panels on everything from parks to education. And they can even buy coffee and beer.

ZenoRadio hooks up more than 1 million listeners to radio stations around the world by making a call to a U.S. phone number. The company founder came up with the idea when he realized that most U.S. cellphone plans have unlimited calling, and many immigrants have cellphones but no on-the-job Internet connection.

'Renaissance Garden' Highlights Medicinal Plants

This summer, the New York Botanical Garden is featuring an exhibit called Wild Medicine: Healing Plants around the World. The most beautiful and interesting part is a small scale recreation of the 16th century Italian Renaissance Garden at Padua, the site of one of the earliest and most important medical schools.
