February 17, 2004 • Each day this week pianist Schiff talks with Fred Child about the Beethoven cello sonatas he played with cellist Miklos Perenyi last summer at the Schwetzingen Festival, in Germany. From that concert, we hear the Cello Sonata Op. 102, No. 1 by Beethoven. Miklos Perenyi is the cellist, with Andras Schiff at the piano.
