The United States' task force on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq has called off its search. The White House cited the threat of Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction in going to war against Saddam Hussein, but no stockpiles were found and the White House now says the physical hunt is over. Military Probes Mosul Attack

The top U.S. commander in northern Iraq says that this week's deadly attack on a U.S. base near the city of Mosul may have been the work of a suicide bomber wearing an Iraqi military uniform. Brig. Suicide Bomb Pegged as Likely Cause of Mosul Attack

At the Pentagon, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Only 25 percent of the medium and heavy military trucks hauling fuel, supplies, etc. along Iraq's dangerous highways have armor protection.
