Embedded Player The White House confirmed today that Vice President Dick Cheney discussed a debt that India owed to Enron when he met with a political figure from that country in June. The White House noted that the $64 million involved was guaranteed by an agency of the U.S. government, so taxpayers were on the hook if Enron did not collect. NPR's Don Gonyea reports.
