Embedded Player Noah Adams talks with Robert Baer, author of "See No Evil." Baer was a CIA director of operations who worked in the Middle East and then in Tajikistan from 1992 to 1995. He says the CIA went through a policy change during his time there that left the United States vulnerable to terrorist attacks. Baer believes there is too much reliance on spying technology and that more CIA officers who speak foreign languages should be sent abroad to gather information. (6:00) The book is published by Crown.
