Embedded Player Two hours south of Mexico City, there is a 1,000-year-old tree. At its base burbles a natural spring, which Mexico's Catholics believe was blessed by the Virgin Mary. Not far from this site is the Church of Chalma. Both places are believed to be sacred and draw hundreds of thousands of pilgrims each year, particularly in the days before Easter.
