Embedded Player Maverick lawmaker Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) is sponsoring three bills in Congress she says make politicians more accountable to their poorest constituents. Among the measures she's pushing is a repeal of tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans and a requirement that Congress prove a bill won't hurt the poor before it's voted into law.
